Springbox seeks a dynamic, collaborative Web Analyst to join our Austin office. The Web Analyst will identify opportunities and build measurement plans to improve clients’ digital footprints.

Job Details

  • Partner with Strategists and Planners to develop measurement plans for clients’ web presence, including KPI and benchmark development.
  • Set-up site tagging structure using Google Tag Manager for ongoing web reporting.
  • Establish ongoing reporting templates and present findings to clients.
  • Monitor clients’ sites for optimization opportunities, leveraging test and learn software and partnership with User Experience designers to define recommendations.
  • Partner with media planning partners to develop media mix models and testing plans.
  • Participate in development of custom research designs for strategy development, with emphasis on web, search and social forms of data.
  • Contribute to innovation at the firm, specifically, automation of proprietary analysis methods to inform digital leadership opportunities.
  • Keep up-to-date on marketing best practices and trends effecting the analytics space.   

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in analytics focused role.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics and other web analytics solutions.
  • Experience developing site tagging briefs and setting up analytics tags on websites.
  • Familiarity with search data and SEO principles to make taxonomy and SEO/SEM recommendations.
  • Experience using cross digital analytics platforms including social conversation, search (e.g., Moz, SEMRush).
  • Familiarity with metrics to develop test plans, establish benchmarks and measure performance in digital channels.
  • Knowledge of modern marketing frameworks (e.g., content marketing) and theories (e.g., behavioral economics).
  • Passion for data and finding unique truths hidden in the sea of numbers.
  • Thirst for continual learning and advancement of the analytics function.
  • Strong logical thinking skills. Ability to think creatively in order to envision relationships between data. 
  • Highly resourceful to find the lead insights from diverse and robust data sources including search, social, web data.
  • Familiarity with standard Martech ecosystems (CRM, automation, cross platform integration).

Technical Qualifications

  • Google Analytics Certified
  • Google Doubleclick experience (Campaign management, DSP, Display Advertising experience)
  • Ad Trafficking, Conversion tagging and measurement
  • Multi-touch attribution funnel development
  • Adwords Search experience (SEM)
  • Social Media Campaign Experience (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • SEO, Technical and Content Optimization
  • Working Knowledge of Javascript
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data management
  • Multi-channel campaign reporting experience in 3rd party Data Visualization platforms (Datarama, Tableau, Google Data Studio)

Nice to Have's:

  • Knowledge of baseline programming languages (Python, R) to gather and evaluate data.
  • Collection of web data - experience with data mining and web scraping.
  • Comfort with setting up, performing and evaluating output from primary, secondary, and behavioral research methods.
  • Interest and some knowledge of design thinking and experience design principles.
  • Working knowledge of any Marketing Automation platform.
  • Masters in an analytics related degree preferred.
